Frequently Asked Questions
General & Investor Questions
Dulzura Memorials is currently in its active development phase. We have secured the land, established our core multi-disciplinary team, and are in the process of building the civil and faith-specific infrastructure. Our cemetery sections and memorial spaces will be officially open soon, and we are currently accepting priority registrations for both pre-construction plots and capital placement inquiries.
It means that while our gates are 100% open to any member of the public regardless of faith or secular background, our infrastructure was built with the intentional purpose of celebrating and honoring the three major faiths tracing their roots back to Abraham. We have built specialized sections that cater strictly to the complex ritual laws of these traditions, a feature that general secular parks rarely invest in.
We work hand-in-hand with regional Southern California Rabbis, Imams, and Pastors. The layout, orientation, and operational guidelines for each garden have been vetted and consecrated to ensure they strictly align with the religious laws of each respective community.
Yes. This is one of the primary problems Dulzura Memorials was founded to solve. Traditional faith-segregated cemeteries often prohibit an interfaith couple from sharing a plot. Our Unity Interfaith Garden welcomes multi-faith couples, allowing them to rest side-by-side while respecting both of their heritages.
Technical & Faith Practices
Our Olive Grove Garden is structurally configured so that every plot is perfectly aligned on the right side facing Mecca (Qibla). We also feature an onsite ritual washing (Ghusl) room and maintain an on-call rapid coordination team to accommodate traditional burials within 24 hours.
Yes. In the Judean Garden, we fully accommodate traditional halakha requirements for direct contact with the natural earth. We permit bottomless outer containers and simple, all-wood kosher caskets to facilitate a completely natural return to the earth.
A green burial focuses on environmental sustainability—avoiding chemical embalming, concrete liners, or non-biodegradable metals. Because traditional Jewish and Islamic customs inherently line up with eco-friendly green principles, any family from any background can choose a green burial option anywhere on our designated green-certified grounds.
